Production of circular connectors

In the production process of circular connectors, the hole-punching needle is usually the beginning, and a large high-speed punch can be used to punch thin metal strips into pins. One end of a large roll of metal belt is transported to the front end of the punch, and the other end needs to be wound into a winding pulley by the hydraulic workbench of the punch, and then the winding pulley pulls out the winding metal belt to complete the production of the pin.

1. Stamping

2. Electroplating

After stamping, the connector pin needs to be sent to the electroplating process immediately. Electroplating refers to plating various metal coatings on the surface of the product. In the stamping stage, the production of box parts, such as pin deformation, chipping or deformation, needs to be carried out in the electroplating equipment of the moving knife.

Although electroplating can brighten the surface of the product and improve the corrosion resistance of the product, it can be found that there are defects such as pinholes and scratches on the electroplating surface, so some connector pins need to be plated with multiple layers of metal.

The manufacturing process of circular connectors is more complicated and involves many steps. Today, we will briefly introduce some of them. In the future, we will introduce additional production processes and steps.
