How are circular connectors produced?
Circular connectors are widely used in many fields, not only in mechanical manufacturing and industrial automation, but also in information control technology, because it can help users save a lot of installation time, reduce production costs, and improve convenience. Do you know how it is produced? We will introduce the production process below.
Circular connectorIt is widely used in many fields, not only in mechanical manufacturing and industrial automation, but also in information control technology, because it can help users save a lot of installation time, reduce production costs, and improve convenience of use. Do you know how it is produced? We will introduce the production process below.
1. Stamping.
In the production process of circular connectors, stamping pins is usually the beginning. With large high-speed punching machines, thin metal strips can be stamped into pins. One end of a large roll of metal belt is transported to the front end of the punch, and the other end needs to be wound into a winding pulley through the hydraulic workbench of the punch, and then the metal belt is pulled out and wound by the winding pulley to complete the pin production.
2. Electroplating.
After stamping, it is necessary to immediately send the connector pins to the electroplating process. Electroplating refers to the plating of various metal coatings on the surface of the product. In the stamping stage, the production of box parts, such as the deformation, chipping or deformation of the pins, needs to be carried out in the electroplating equipment of the moving knife.
Although electroplating can brighten the surface of the product and improve the corrosion resistance of the product, it can be found that there are defects such as pinholes and scratches on the electroplating surface, so the pins of some connectors need to be plated with multiple layers of metal.
The production process of circular connectors is complex and involves many steps. Today, we will briefly introduce some of them. In the future, we will introduce other production processes and steps.
